Regular Java / SL3 engineer (offline)

Project Description:
High-loaded backend development, using the J2EE technologies based on EJB/Spring/Web services, some UI development on Servlet/GWT technologies.


Responsibilities:
• Learn Equity platforms and its domain area, different types of accounts, booking flows and allocations types and be able to update system configuration on user requests
• Support and update system configuration in UAT and PROD on user request
• Support and manager rules for homegrown business rule engine
• Support setup of new business flows and client migration on the platform
• Investigate booking and allocation issues by log, code, database analysis
• Manage UAT environment and support deployment in PROD
• Effective communication with stakeholders
• Accurate tasks progress and time reporting
• Prepare release instruction for support team
• Supporting and updating platform documentation
• Provide SQL reports for support team


Mandatory Skills:
Strong Core Java
J2EE
Application Servers: Tomcat; Weblogic
SQL (Sybase or Oracle is preferred)
Caching technology
Spring
JMS


Nice-to-Have Skills:
Coherence / Hazelcast (nice to have)


Languages:
English: B2 Upper Intermediate
