R&D Tech Lead (New Products) (offline)

iDeals has been delivering the best customer experience since 2008. We were able to make a competitive product and build a leading business in a crowded and highly segmented market. More than 2500 clients spread around the globe, among which there are LG, PWC, HP, EY, Deloitte, Barclays, Rothschild, inspire us each day to deliver the best product in the market.

This year we have expanded our strategy, and now one of our goals is to create entirely new products.

To achieve this goal, we established an independent cross-functional R&D team that intends to launch a bunch of successful start-ups within our established business. This team has been tasked with creating new global B2B products. These products are not yet generally available, so we cannot share more information publicly.

Therefore we are looking for an R&D Tech Lead to help us create the products that will change the way people work. We do not limit requirements of programming language experience, and rather assume to find someone who has either a language-independent or cross-language engineering background (ideally a .NET + Angular 2+ or Node + React or PHP + JS).

Your Expected Outcomes:
• You’ll be responsible for the overall technical design of products;
• Wear many hats and work with multiple components in different parts of the stack;
• Make well-reasoned decisions that inspire and energize others;
• Provide expert product engineering guidance and knowledge or evaluations to deliver short term business goals;
• Be a valued member of an autonomous team to experiment, iterate and deliver new product solutions continuously;
• Leverage your strengths and interests to work on full feature implementation from the front end, to the API, all the way to the back end;
• Consistently demonstrate extremely high levels of technical knowledge, ingenuity, and creativity.

Your Competency Profile:
• You have an either language-independent or cross-language engineering background (ideally a .NET + Angular 2+ or Node + React or PHP + JS);
• You’re a software engineering generalist who cares deeply about user-centric product development;
• You’re a problem-solver with product mindset and the ability to create evolutionary ;
• You take a thoughtful approach to decision making; knowing when to move fast and when to do things right
• You care about web technologies, exploring data, user experience, and design and use all of that for building user-friendly web applications;
• You’re excited about delivering end-to-end experiences and care about your software architecture across the front-end, back-end, and the APIs that glue them together;
• You enjoy seeing your work have an immediate impact;
• A track record of solving difficult technical challenges and anticipating technical problems ahead of time.
