Verification Architect [relocation to Sweden] (offline)

As an official partner, on behalf of our customer, we are now looking for a Verification Architect to join the team in Sweden.

All the relocation is covered for you and your family!

One of our customers teams is responsible for Applications and Service development on their TV project. The team consists of SW developers with long experience in Android development. We are now looking for a SW Verification Architect, to strengthen the team. The team was formed 6 months ago and the right person will be key in driving the teams way of working.

Responsibilities:

- Set up agile, efficient and effective test strategies aligned with the agile way of working, that secures quality during the development phase
- Set up appropriate test scope based on the development done
- Issue board responsible as well as responsible for issue prioritization
- Feature board responsible contributing to new feature planning
- Support the team in fulfilling the verification scope
- Initiate and drive new quality improvements and changes
- Identifying and execute on opportunities for improving efficiencies through test automation
- Design and implement automation infrastructure
- Support the team in fulfilling the verification scope

Requirements:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- Proficient in Java
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Android Experience
- Proficient in a Unix/Linux environment
- Git/Gerrit experience
- JUnit expert
- Mocking expert
- An expert at identifying opportunities for automation, implementing test automation and building automation infrastructure. Such as setting up test-lab and updating HW with correct SW
- Passionate about delivering software with quality. Confident to work in a team with developers, to motivate and lead them to contribute to increasing the quality. Last but not least a social, outgoing person.
