Mid-Level Java Developer (offline)

Essential skills:

- 3+ years experience as a Software Engineer;
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 or higher;
- Experience with SQL;
- JPA (Persistence API) 2.x with Hibernate;
- Familiar with CI/CD and Jenkins;
- Basic Linux experience;
- Self-driven, independent work habits;
- Passion for IT.

As a plus:

Experience in some following areas :
- Virtualization (Docker)
- JavaScript
- REST- /Web Services (JAX-RS, JAX-WS);

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for implementing a payment directive of the European Central Bank (ECB) into a core banking software solution from Germany used by numerous large commercial banks. You will be working with the ISO 2022 payments message format (e.g. PAIN messages). You will improve transparency and regulatory compliance by implementing automated cross-checks of payment transactions for limits, black/white lists, available funds etc.
