Software Engineer (offline)

Is the World’s largest and smartest Influencer search and discovery directory that provides real-time analytics for social Influencers across major social platforms.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• 5+ years experience as Software Engineer
• Expert in Python, with knowledge of Python web framework such as Django and Scrapy
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles;
• Proficiency with Postgres database
• Expertise on AWS cloud platform
• Experience working with Elasticsearch
• English level B2 and higher (spoken and written)
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Maintain of existing code
• Work with Ticketing System Software
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Actively participate in code reviews, analyze results and choose the best solution
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Build efficient features with Python and React
• Troubleshoot customer issues and communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare technical documentation
• Continuously focus on improving software quality and performance

Project is a service which provides real-time analytics of influencers on social platforms. Service contains profiles and demographic information for an audience of more than 10 million users.
The system consists of two parts backend part which is essentially an ETL system built with scrappers, map-reduce jobs and DAG runner and frontend part which is Django RESTfull service with React SPA. The system itself is hosted on AWS and make use of such services as ElasticBeanstalk, ECS, S3, RDS, ElasticCache, EMR, Elasticsearch, Amazon Rekognition. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining an existing system as also as improving it.
