Junior-Middle Android-App Developer (offline)

Become a new member of our Front-End Team in the Digital Convenience IT Group! We focus on automation and intelligent systems in Retail and Food Industries. You will work on problems, such as digital ordering & payment processes in restaurants, automated checkout-systems in retail and the reduction of food waste. We use modern technology, great UX and UI and sophisticated QA, to ensure customer-orientated programming.

Our IT team numbers 15 dynamic and experienced developers and you will have the opportunity to solve a broad range of challenging problems.

One example is our autonomous store: Grab Me - here we are working one of the biggest and hottest challenges in digitization - creating self checkout technology for retail. We will introduce the first automated store in Europe. Just imagine: you go into the supermarket, put the items to your basket and at the end pay with your mobile application. No need to wait in the queues and handle your wallet. All you need is your phone.

The Digital Convenience IT Group is based in Hamburg, Germany and Kiev, Ukraine .
We work together with some of the biggest names in Fast Food and Retail.

What You'll Be Doing:

Must Have: Android/Kotlin/Java - Minimum 1 year of commercial experience
Must Have: JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS/SCSS - Minimum 1 year
Working with REST-Apis
Experience in Mobile Apps
Experience in working with Git
Ability to work with different programming languages (TypeScript, JavaScript)
Ability to work with different mobile frameworks (Ionic, AngularJS)
