Regular Manual Tester (offline)

Project Description:
Managing the models of the Power System that are required to analyse the reliability and economics of the power system as a whole. It can be used in operations control, electricity markets, system expansions and other areas of power utilities.

Technically implemented as 3-tier solution: .NET/WPF client, WCF service for connect with .NET/WinService server, either MS SQL Server or Oracle DB.
Responsibilities:
• Requirements review from testing side
• Writing new test cases, review and update exiting ones
• Regression testing and smoke tests
• Gathering and reporting test statistics
• Submitting and processing defects
• Communication with customer representatives
• Support other teams/team members with daily activities
• Creating and supporting technical documentation
Mandatory Skills:
• 2+ years of proven experience in software testing
• Understanding of bug life cycle
• Understanding agile software development methodologies
• Experience in test design using different software testing techniques
• RDB: being able to write queries
• Experience in testing client-server applications with windows based clients(WPF)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• GIT/TFS
• Experience in PowerShell a plus.
• Experience of testing web based applications
• Basic level of C# language
