Senior Technical Project Manager, Healthcare (offline)
Description
A leading US-based manufacturer of medical devices is developing a cloud-based backend information system that will interact with a number of apps (web apps + mobile apps) in order to streamline efficient information exchange and communication between different systems.
Requirements
Project manager who will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day project planning and execution of web software development program in healthcare domain. This position will include driving engineering execution, technical leadership, project planning, project documentation, communication, and management reporting.
- At least 6 years of experience in Software Development
- At least 4 years of experience in Project Management
- Proven track of managing a team of 30+ engineers on several projects in parallel
- Proficient in modern cloud technologies
- Experience in managing complex engineering projects, managing budgets and crisis management
- Good grasp of modern SDLC methodologies and management principles/techniques
- Proven experience in establishing/tailoring project process
- Being able to elicit, document and prioritize project requirements
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Experience in working with foreign customers in the IT industry
- Willingness for teamwork with peers and at the same time self-starter
- Experience in mentoring team leads/team members
- Having strong understanding of motivational principles and what drives people towards results
- Capability to recognize weak points, risks, and dependencies, ability to address them
- Fulfilling commitments and willingness to show initiative
- Strong charisma and energy to build the team and drive it to success, be a role model.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
- Fluent English in technical application
Responsibilities
- Lead a development part of the program with 30+ engineers working on the interdependent projects
- Managing scope and estimations for the projects
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders on client side
- Drive team towards technical issues resolution
- Manage risks and changes and archive on-time and on-quality delivery
