Senior Data Analyst (offline)

Strivtech is an online social services provider for individuals and societies living in the US and abroad. We build an ecosystem of connected products, including web and mobile applications, API services and processing solutions, which enable us to deliver seamless experiences for our customers.

Born in Los Angeles, we rapidly grew to a global team with a presence throughout the US, Central America, and Ukraine.

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst.

Key responsibilities:
- Improving of the reporting ecosystem for current products and building from scratch for new;
- Data research helps Company to earn money. Company help you to earn money :) ;
- Improving of the DWH;
- We have big plans in machine learning for the future so you might be a key person in that process;
- Communication with stakeholders (1 in Ukraine and 2 in California, US) to understand their needs;
- Communication with product management team to help them in their needs as well.

Core experience and skills:
- At least 3 years of experience as Data Analyst / Data SCI or Data Engineer;
- Strong SQL knowledge (DML, DDL operators, subquerying, analytical functions etc.);
- Upper-Intermediate English;
- Experience in building analytics for Web Segment of Products;
- Understanding of ETL approaches and technologies;
- Strong knowledge of Tableau / MS Power BI / Qlick View or SAS (at least one);
- Strong mathematical thinking;
- Proven experience in using one of RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL);
- Passionate to Data.

Desirable experience and skills:
- Experience in Hadoop / Hive / Presto / Spark;
- Python or R knowledge;
- Google Analytics;
- Machine learning / Modelling experience;
- Data Engineering skills;
- Jira / Confluence;
- Experience in writing bash / PHP scripts;
- BI reporting development experience.

You would work with this technology stack:
- Tableau (Desktop + Online);
- Presto + Hive + Spark SQL (SQL/ HQL Querying);
- Python / R (for some tasks);
- Jira / Confluence;
- We have a big DWH (contains data from more than 20 different data sources) and you may be a TOP initiator to improve it.
