DevOps Platform Engineer for Automotive Project (offline)

About the Project:
The platform & DevOps engineer is part of the WW Analytics team. (S)He works with respective automotive accounts, Hadoop experts, experienced software developers, data scientists and technology experts to deliver analytic solutions for our customers.

The goal of the program is to solve the 'billion-mile validation challenge' by providing end-to-end features and service for Level 3+ Autonomous Driving software development and validation that can be deployed as a collaboration eco-system accessible to the automotive market worldwide.

Responsibilities:
• Development, optimization and performance tuning of Robotic Drive autonomous driving platform to store and process hundreds of PB of automotive sensor data
• System administration for OS and middleware (Linux, Windows, Ubuntu, RedHat Openshift, MapR)
• Platform Build
o On prem server installation, config and trouble-shooting at DXC Innovation Lab
o Cluster ramp up for development, demo and testing environments on cloud (AWS, Azure, Cloudera)
o Develop automation deployment script packages for OS, RHEL, MapR on any environment (on prem, AWS, Azure)
• Integrate autonomous driving development functions, toolkits and libraries into Robotic Drive AI & compute platform covering data ingest, analytics, labeling, machine learning governance, simulation, re-compute, validation & verification...
• Build central ELK + Prometheus monitoring solution across entire end-to-end autonomous driving development toolchain
• Enterprise multi-domain authentication, authorization, security
• Develop prototypes & proof-of-concept solutions in support of presales activities as well as support the development of standardized analytic offerings across multiple industries

Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor or Master degree required in informatics, business informatics, business administration or equivalent qualification
• Linux system administration understanding, network authentication, security, AD/LDAP
• 3+ years proven project experience in all phases of innovative Big Data/Hadoop distributions and ecosystem (e.g. MapR volume partitioning, HDFS, Spark, Hive, HBase): Concept & design, development, implementation, change and operation
• 2+ years hands-on experience in bare metal server administration, platform build and operations (Linux, Windows, Ubuntu, RedHat Openshift, MapR)
• Project experience in monitoring tools tack (e.g. Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Nagios), logging, ticketing, threshold-based alerting
• Experience in cloud computing (AWS/Azure/Cloudera)
• Basic know how in networking, (NAT, VPN, subnet), remote access (VPN, IPSec, SSL, SSH, OpenVPN), Active Directory,
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD, Ansible playbooks & deployment automation, Jenkins (2+ years)

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Project experience in compute cluster development and containerization (Kubernetes, docker) highly appreciated
