Regular/Senior Azure Developer, Zaandam (offline)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a brand new Data Analytics team for a new customer. In essence, the client is leveraging the Azure PaaS platform with all kind of (business) data to build an advanced analytics platform aiming at delivering better insights and applications to the business. The platforms are continuously being enhanced to support (additional) CI/CD and validated learning environment for science, machine learning and AI capabilities for all areas customer-facing like digital omnichannel interaction and commerce, commerce relevance, personalisation, loyalty and marketing and non-customer-facing like assortment optimization, supply chain optimization, external parties and IoT. We will be working on end to end functionality including architecture, data preparation, processing and consumption by systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing components of Data Analytics platform in Azure
• Provisioning Azure resources with infrastructure as a code
• Implementing data integrations with external data sources
• Implementing APIs for data consumers
• Implementing security measures with virtual networks, role-based access control, Azure Active Directory
• Implementing monitoring dashboards and alerting mechanisms for Analytics platform
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure Dev Ops
• Implementing batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines

SKILLS

MUST
• General knowledge of PaaS offerings Azure platform
• Azure Compute and Storage resources (VMs, AppServices, Azure Functions, Azure Batch, Service Fabric, Storage Account, SQL databases, CosmosDB)
• Azure security tools: (Key Vault, AAD, Managed Identity, VNets) and authentication protocols
• Azure Monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Workbooks)
• Azure DevOps

NICE TO HAVE
• C#/.NET
• Azure Analytics Data Platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
• Retail industry experience
