Description

You will join our team of engineers who develop and maintain our company’s CMSs. We have several WordPress CMS that are incorporated into our website ​similarweb.com​. In this role you will work alongside with client and server side developers and extend the current CMS according to our marketing department’s needs.

We are using several technologies and tools:
- WordPress
- React
- Sass
- Our own core CSS/JavaScript libraries

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an expert PHP/Javascript developer with strong server-side skills.

You should be able to create templates and plugins, use the internal WordPress API to support custom post types, configure admin screens, handle security and create SEO-oriented web pages.

To keep up with this pace we are looking for passionate web developers who are eager to learn and constantly improve their skills.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in PHP and JavaScript
- Deep understanding in WordPress development (themes/plugins/API/WPBakery Page Builder)
- Docker experience – Big Advantage
- Nomad experience – Advantage
- Understanding of MySQL
- Understanding of HTML5/CSS3
- Redis, memcache – advantage
- Knowledge of SEO – advantage
- Prior experience with Gulp – advantage
- English – fluent
