Lead Node.js Developer (offline)

Responsibilities:
• Plan cloud backend architecture;
• Implement cool new features, services and APIs for the cloud Autonomous Vehicle Simulator;
• Work together with WEB UI team (React JS);
• Write reusable code and libraries;
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability;
• Implement security and data protection;
• Write tests.

Requirements:
• 8+ years in IT and 5+ years of development experience in JavaScript (ES6);
• Proficiency in backend development with Node.js;
• Good understanding of computer science in algorithms, analysis, computer organization, data structures;
• Experience in Virtualization/Containerization: Docker;
• Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL - indexing, performance optimization, etc.;
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch / Cassandra / MongoDB;
• Experience with unit/integration tests using: jest, mocha, nock, chai, etc.;
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:
o Familiar with Hadoop / HDFS / SPARK;
o Understands Kubernetes / AWS ECS;
o Would be a plus to have experience in Terraform;
o Higher Education: Bachelor's Degree would be a plus but not required.
