Job Summary
As a DevOps engineer, you will build significant part of cloud platform which will be used by the end customers around the globe (PaaS model) as well as by internal services. The part is Kubernetes as a Service (KaaS) for cloud platform which is developing from scratch. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the services that will be available for end customers: KaaS and management of containerized applications on top of KaaS. The ideal candidate is excited to solve complex problems, has engineering vision and learn new things, has passion to drive innovation and production quality throughout the software development life cycle, from design to operations.

Responsibilities
-Contribute to our Kubernetes cluster deployment system for deploying to on-premise and public cloud providers;
-Building and deploying immutable infrastructure and components;
-Identify and drive opportunities to improve CI/CD cloud infrastructure;
-Follow company practices: automate the build, testing, and deployments using Platform Engineering tools;
-Working in both containerized as well as non-containerized environments;
-Participate in code reviews within the team;
-Bring a passion for staying on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies;
-Work with minimal supervision;
-Utilize resources efficiently to resolve complex issues;
-Work with leadership to identify and revise approaches, be ready to make decisions about future tech stack and architecture;
-Professional curiosity that leads the team member to learn more and try new approaches or technology;
-Work hand in hand with product and architecture teams;
-Develop flow charts, mind mapping, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.

Tools and Technologies used on the project
-Kubernetes, Docker, Helm;
-OpenStack;
-Scripting with Bash, Python, Groovy;
-Continuous Integration and Delivery with Jenkins;
-Artifact Repo Management with Artifactory (JFrog);
-Automation and orchestration (Terraform, Ansible);
-Monitoring and logging (Prometheus, ELK).

Qualifications & Experience
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
-Strong Expertise in Kubernetes architecture;
-Strong Expertise in Kubernetes on-premise clusters (deploying, testing, maintaining);
-Strong Expertise in with containers (Docker);
-Automation and orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, other is a plus);
-Experience in clouds (OpenStack);
-Service meshes (Istio, Linkerd);
-Solid skills Linux systems administration and troubleshooting;
-Understanding TCP/IP stack;
-Understanding networking (L2-L7), traffic balancing and routing, firewalls;
-Experience with continuous integration Jenkins tool;
-Expertise in at least one scripting/programming language;
Experience with deploying applications in k8s (Helm, Kustomize);
-Understanding of cloud native application architectures;
-Have used source control (github/gitlab) to manage code;
-Experience in monitoring, tracing, log analyzing tools;
-Upper-Intermediate English.

10% Training.
