Software Engineer (Augmented Reality) (offline)

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience developing apps, games or • AR/VR experiences
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Machine Learning, or related field (Master’s Degree Preferred)
• Proficiency with AR Frameworks ARKit, ARCore or similar
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, C#, Objective-C, etc.
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or similar 3D engines
• Experience in rapid prototyping and good intuition in making time vs. complexity tradeoffs
• Experience in designing AR
• Eagerness to stay on top of and push latest technologies and engineering methodologies and proven experience in quickly acquiring new technical/design skillsets
• Excellent communication skills and experience with collaborating with external partners
• Conscientious, responsible, self-motivated, ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to translate any design into a working product with minimal supervision
• Good speaking English

Responsibilities:

• Build 3d content for virtual reality using Unity and C#
• Own and complete core client side technical features
• Proficiently execute Unity-related items such as animations, UI effects, and audio
• Work with artists and other team members to determine optimal formats, scales, pipeline improvements, and other elements for asset export to Unity
• Work with engineers and other team members to architect and scope feature details
• Debug problems, make builds, and help ship great, successful products!
