Solution Architect, Payments (offline)

A Solution Architect will be responsible for software architecture of our Cloud-based applications. Architect will help to build a technological vision, will drive a technology strategy and influence business partners and technology leaders with regards the strategic direction in general. He/she will work with engineering leaders and other software architects on the definition and delivery of highly scalable and secure Cloud solutions. A Solution Architect will lead efforts focused on a payment system direction. He/she will partner with a product management and other engineers, driving research and prototyping to enable payments in both C2C and C2B payment system domain settings. This position does not only require excellent technical skills, but also an outstanding analytical, leadership and influencing skills paired with great business insight. It is a cross-functional leadership role that requires alignment building and communication with all the engineering organization.

Key Accountabilities:
• Defining and driving software architecture and enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, maintainability, etc.)
• Designing complex software systems for high-end solutions
• Determining an overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards
• Working in a consultative fashion with other organizations such as security and operations
• Providing leadership to engineers, QE and product partners
• Driving research, case studies, and prototypes on leading edge technologies and how they can be leveraged
• Overseeing software architecture within the scope of assigned systems
• Analyzing and providing feedback on product strategy

Requirements:

Language proficiency
• Native Russian or Ukrainian language
• Advanced English level verbal as well as written

Skills and Experience
• C#, Java, J2EE, Spring
• Online Payments and Wallets
• RDBMS and NoSQL: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Mongo, Cassandra, ElasticSearch
• In-memory DBs: Redis, Memcached
• Stream-processing and queue processing solutions: Kafka, RabbitMQ
• AWS, Google Cloud or other public clouds
• Containers (Docker, Kubernetes and/or similar)
• CI/CD
