DBA / SQL Developer (offline)

What will you be working on?

• Analyzing, designing, modelling, and implementing database components for one or more applications
• Writing and maintaining SQL code (functions, stored procedures, objects)
• Organizing database tasks in a project
• Optimizing and tuning database performance
• Solving production database issues
• Providing support and guidance to developers who need to interface with the database
• Providing deployment and production support as necessary
• Writing and maintaining data conversion scripts (for new customers, version upgrades)
• Communicating with customers about data migration activities
• Maintaining test environments
• Writing and maintaining ETL components (SSIS)
• Writing and maintaining Reports (SSRS)

You will be successful here if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT or MIS related or equivalent
• Experience in related position with MS SQL Server 2012 & 2016
• 2-3 years of DBA experience (ideally MS SQL Server 2012 & 2016)
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with data modelling concepts and tools
• Thorough understanding of system design & analysis, acceptance testing, user training, and performance improvement
• A positive “Can Do” attitude
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Passion for learning and applying new technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, English level - Upper-Intermediate
