Android engineer (Long Trips to USA) (offline)

Description:
We work primarily with big enterprise companies, helping them to build client-facing mobile applications based on a modern technological stack. In most cases we work with modern frameworks, architectural patterns and tools, like Kotlin, MVVM, Data Binding, RxJava. Solutions we use are based on strong engineering practices, and our company follows the best DevOps and automation practices.

You can get a unique experience working with a complex customer’s infrastructure. Your mission will be challenging but interesting: to develop a sophisticated mobile application, and drive adoption of modern methodologies like Scrum and Continuous Integration within the team.

Requirements:
Solid understanding of Java and Kotlin
Strong experience with Android SDK
Strong understanding of client-server development in a mobile environment
General understanding of network protocols, experience with HTTP/RESTful APIs
Experience in customizing UI or/and developing custom controls
Experience with unit tests development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Good theoretical knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software architecture principles and practices
Experience with version control and bug tracking systems
Intermediate (or better) English skills

Will be a plus:
Track record of successful application development for Android platform
References to shipped products in the Android Marketplace
iOS application development experience (Swift / Objective C)
