Senior Power BI engineer (offline)

Our client, is one of Europe's fastest growing mobile companies with over five million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide and operations in eight countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model. As one of their core services, they provide “Pay As You Go” mobile SIM cards, targeted towards the needs of international communities and migrant workers. To cope with rapidly growing business demands our client is launching its R&D center in Lviv and Kyiv, Ukraine, with us.


Responsibilities:
• Communicate with customer, gather technical requirements
• Data visualization with a lot of analytics
• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
• To describe for the team how to make high-quality reports in Power BI using rich visualization
• Design scripts to import data from source systems and test dashboards to meet customer requirements
• Provide input on proposing, evaluating and selecting appropriate design alternatives, which meet client requirements and are consistent with client’s current standards and processes

Position requirements:
• Experience as a BI developer
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferable (Enterprise size reporting) or TableuQlik senseLooker
• Knowledge of SQL (join types, select tables with more than 5 items)
• Good understanding of ETL processes and DW
• Strong communication, in case of distributed teams (skype, Slack, Teams, emails)
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English

Nice to have:
• Familiarity with Azure (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Service)
• Knowledge of MS SSRS
