DB Best is seeking a Senior Internal System Administrator to develop and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, create and support virtual environments, and update the inventory of company assets. We need the one capable of efficient troubleshooting internal infrastructure issues.

We’re a company operating in Ukraine with a head office in the US. We’re focused on Data Management, Modernization, and Cloud. You’ll be working in a strong technical team. The position is for the one open for challenges, as well as for work in shifts.

Необходимые навыки
— Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Linux, Active Directory, IIS, SQL operation and troubleshooting;
— Strong knowledge of MS Active Directory;
— Experience with storage technologies, SAN and RAID concepts;
— Internal network configuring skills (VLAN, L2, L3 routing, jumbo frame, RIP, and OSPF);
— Firm knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack;
— Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python;
— Knowledge of main network services: DHCP, DNS, Mail, FTP, HTTP, proxy, reverse proxy, file servers, backup
— VPN configuration skills: L2TP, IPSEC, PPTP, SSTP, OpenVPN;
— Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, Office 365.

Обязанности
— Maintain internal IT infrastructure (servers, VMs, cloud services, network equipment);
— Create and support virtual environments (HyperV, ESXi, VMware, Docker);
— Perform and update the inventory of company assets;
— Troubleshoot internal infrastructure issues;
— Automate OS deployment and manage configuration;
— Manage Active Directory and create GPO policies;
— Prepare automation scripts to perform routine tasks;
— Work in shifts (24/5): 8 am — 5 pm or 1 pm — 10 pm;
— Be open to night shifts on demand.
