🔹About the project

We are developing a digital advertising solution for a Belgian-Dutch customer. The product is already in production.

Сurrent team setup:

5 Java developers (including a Tech Lead), 3 Frontend (React) developers, 2 QA, and a DevOps

🔹Responsibilities

- Develop a cloud-native system leveraging the mentioned technologies in a high pace environment;

- Make strategic and tactic technical decisions together with other Java, frontend developers and a DevOps engineer;

- Communicate actively inside the team, with a Product Owner and a UX designer and also with representatives of another team developing other component our system integrates with several third-party systems

🔹Requirements

- 1,5 + years of experience in a similar role;

- Java 11+;

- Spring: Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot;

- Microservices architecture + REST understanding;

- Persistence frameworks: Hibernate, JPA, JDBC (main understanding);

- RDBS (Postgres, SQL);

- Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito;

- Miscellaneous: Maven, Git;

- Docker;

- Understanding what is synchronous and asynchronous microservice communication;

- Message brokers theoretical knowledge (RabbitMQ, SQS)

- Good communication and English-speaking skills

Will be a plus:

- AWS experience (S3, SQS, SNS, SES);

- Experience with Scrum
